COMPANY PRESENTATION:Sweet Nothings makes some really healthy products from organic fruits, nuts and seeds. Our herbal offerings contain no dairy, no added sugar, and no ingredients you can’t pronounce. We’re on a mission to prove that health can and should taste great while making it easier to consume more of what you need and less of what you don’t.

In just over a year since our retail launch, our product is available in thousands of stores across the country and through online retailers including Thrive Market, Fresh Direct, Amazon Fresh, and Good Eggs. The business is growing rapidly (with additional major launches and new product lines in 2022), and we are looking for an agile problem solver who is excited to contribute to that growth.

We see this as a dream job for someone with a restaurant background looking to take an already exciting restaurant business to the next level.

JOB TITLE: Sales Manager (Food Service) reporting to the CEO. This is a remote, full-time or part-time salaried position.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Manage the daily sales activities of Sweet Nothings in corporate, college, healthcare and other food service cafeterias. Work across the organization on forecasting, pricing, marketing / brand building and more. We are FoodBuy certified and have started to develop relationships with Aramark and Sodexo. Continue to build these relationships with others between distributors, merchandisers and more.

We are looking for someone who has no ego and wants to contribute to a growing business in a variety of ways. The ideal candidate is a team player, excellent communicator, and solution-oriented problem solver who has the ability to think strategically, while meeting day-to-day needs.

Sales associate (food service)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Sweet Nothings strategy for the Foodservice channel, including the road to market.

  • Systematically meet / exceed monthly sales goals by developing and executing measurable sales processes that generate revenue.

  • Iterate over existing sales processes and develop new strategies to optimize and improve the sales cycle and conversion metrics.

  • Responsibility for account management for national accounts and strategic partners.

  • Manage and communicate forecasts between functions.

  • Communicate and raise awareness of account issues, opportunities and results with weekly status reports.

  • Represent Sweet Nothings at trade shows and events.

  • Be a proven income generator who thrives on success and knows how to start new business, not just manage accounts.

  • Leverage your existing network to accelerate individual and business performance while taking responsibility for existing accounts and opportunities nationwide

  • Target and prospect new customers in the restaurant industry, national and regional networks of brokers and distributors in colleges and universities, B&I, theme parks, healthcare, alternative channels, etc.

  • Primary point of contact for clients regarding sourcing, pricing, forecasting, negotiation, innovation and technical support

  • Active sales by phone, email and video with reintegration plan for meetings and physical events

  • Monthly reports, sales analyzes and information with detailed information on customers, market and competition for management; understand go-to-market strategy and how to maximize sales effectiveness.
