MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION

The position of Vice President of Sales is a brand new position due to our rapid growth. The VP of Sales will report to the Co-CEOs, have five direct reports, and be a critical member of the leadership team here at Scott & Jon’s. Job responsibilities include:

  • Lead the sales team by fostering a success-driven and accountable environment that is metrics-driven and forward-thinking
  • Ensure optimal use of talent and resources to achieve maximum business return
  • Directly manage Scott & Jon’s relationships with major accounts such as Target, Walmart and Costco
  • Spearheading the conquest of new major national accounts to increase sales
  • Oversee the preparation of sales expense budgets, sales forecasts and comparison of forecasted sales to actual results
  • Push our network of brokers to ensure all are performing to a high standard and adding value to the brand
  • Provide regular analysis of sales-related issues and provide corrective and preventive actions as needed
  • Assess and verify that all department documents, systems and procedures are compliant and in good standing
  • Other assigned duties

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum requirements:

  • Licence
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in CPG sales including five years at a senior level
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree
  • Experience with frozen CPG sales
