An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a dynamic manager to join our careers department, helping students develop the skills and experience they need to achieve their ambitions and propel them to a successful and rewarding future.
As the Employer Engagement Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our Employer Engagement Team to ensure effective engagement with organizations and employers capable of negotiating and creating opportunities for our students. to engage in professional development opportunities. The Employer Engagement Team implements a variety of activities that allow students to connect with employers.
As the Team Manager, you will manage and guide the team and be part of a larger leadership team playing a leading role in initiatives within the department.
The successful candidate will have proven people management skills and will be a team player with excellent communication skills. You must be committed to providing the highest quality service and ensuring an excellent and exemplary student experience. You will be motivated and able to manage the team to develop relationships with employers from scratch to create results that create opportunities for our students. You will have a level of competence equivalent to obtaining an HND, a diploma, NVQ4 or a basic professional qualification.
You will need to have:
- Proven people management skills
- Proven ability to plan and manage new projects and important new activities
- Proven ability to manage and develop relationships to generate professional development opportunities
