The cannabis industry in New York is booming and entrepreneurs are eager to get started, but the challenges are far greater than in other industries.
Jeffrey Hoffman, Esq. and Pam Chmiel, a cannabis marketer, will host a networking event and host a Q&A with the audience to demystify the laws and regulations shaping the New York market.
They will discuss questions such as: What types of licenses are there? How many licenses is a person or entity allowed to hold? What is a Social Equity License? What is Tax Law 280E? What are NY’s packaging, marketing and advertising rules? Do I need a real estate lease before applying for a license?
This small gathering will set the stage for a solid and engaging conversation between moderators and the audience. The Fort Hamilton Distillery in Brooklyn’s Industry City will host the event with space limited to 40 people, and two craft cocktails are included in the ticket price.
